Couple days ago I was writing about what are the main sources to get traffic to your blog. And now I will write about how that traffic can be just a garbage.

There are visitors that stay less then 2 seconds on your website , most of those you will get from autosurf programs because all they do is click click click click to another website. Same thing could happen with Stumbleupon visitors, I remember that i was the one , because i though as much websites I visit the much visitors I will get , and that is just WRONG. Now stumbleupon visitors I would say are quality visitors because they share same interest and view website that are interested in. Digg visitors can be also good but, what I did notice is that most of those people just come to argue with you for no reason. Guess what ? there is a website for that too !!! www.ilovetoargue.com

I think the best quality visitors that stay for longer time of period and are loyal to your blog either daily or weekly, are the visitors from other blogs. Personaly I visit about 20-30 blogs a day , check out what they new posted, and comment. And those visitors do same for me. For example my friend cymru66 at www.cymru66.com I visit his blog every day and stumble his posts so he does for me, thanks to him stumble upon has being lately very good to me 200-400 visitors + a day just from stumble upon, also sex in red lady :) she has an awesome blog theme and good posts at sexyinred.blogspot.com. So if you are looking for quality visitors visit other blogs your self, learn from others read their posts comment on them and do link exchange, in period of 1 year you could establish 10.000 + visitors a day.

Horaayy..there are 6 comment(s) for me so far ;)

Thanks for your article. When I began five months ago I was charging all over the place visiting sites. I am now trying to limit myself to blogs on sites such as this. I find it very difficult to build up a readership. Maybe its the subject matter. I have another blog waiting for ideas.

Great post.. yes I think it’s very important to build up readership and getting people to be loyal to your blog. I do get traffic but I want people to sign up for my blog or bookmark it… so I am trying to figure out how to do that.. of course. great content is the first step… thanks for stopping by Jolly Green Girl’s confidential…
