Traffic is one of the most important thing you want to drive on your blog. Unless you are writing blog for your personal hobby, but then again you could do same thing in Microsoft Word and Save it as ” day 1,day 2″.

These days I rarely saw somebody to take advantage of blogger.com or wordpress.com and other blog hosting companies, and write about their personal life and share with others.

So here is couple of my techniques to drive traffic back to my blog.

1. Use mybloglog to track which blogs visited you, visit them back and comment

2. Get translator plugin this will increase your international traffic, believe me there is many occasions that I rather read sites in my language then English. Especially if I am looking for medical descriptions.

3. Try to create your own template instead of using from somebody else, people like to see unique templates that are related to your theme of writing and topics.

4. Search for blogs that are related to your blog, post and debate in comments. But don’t start a fight because your opinion is different.

5. Use your blog as business, place your blog url on car, business cards, tell your friends, put it on myspace, facebook and other social network sites.

6. Go to mybloglog and blogcatalog register with those two sites, and search for people that have same interest as you, leave them message leave them url.

7. Make sure your site is optimized for search engine, most traffic on the end of the day should come from search engines. If not fix it make it that way.

8. Post a contest on your blog  leave longer window to win like 1 or even two months.

9. StumbleUpon is one of the traffic you should be getting, it is legal even for adsense. Ask people to stumble you and do the favor back.

10. Don’t be a bitch and keep all secrets for your self only. Share with others what you know, don’t forget that you are NOT the only person that writes about stuff you do Share as much information as you can to help others. Personally I like tips and tricks on how to make money with blog.
