Why would you judge blog by readers tell me just 1 simple comment why? I think that bloggers make mistake to think that “if they have readers or show off their readers” their blog is more popular, well let me tell you that thinking is wrong.

Just few days ago I had over 60 readers and today I only have 19. By tomorrow I might have 30 who knows?

Did my traffic change since 60 readers? NO

Should I be worried about ? NO

Did my blog change any ? NO

Those are the answers that should give you an idea that whoever tells you that readers are important. That person or blogger is wrong and I can prove that .

Take for example that guy has over 25K readers just the other day he had 26.100+ readers , looking at his status today he lost over 1200 readers. Did his traffic change any? Nope :)

Readers are like come and go traffic, if you wrote some post and you said that tomorrow you will be posting something similar , visitors usually will put you on your reader , and then remove the next day.

I got 19 readers that are loyal today to me, by tomorrow i might have 30 who knows?

If you like this post don’t hesitate to add me to your reader :) For all reader applications click here

Great blog and nice ad placements. I like your blog and will add you to my reader!

I think it’s quite tuff to get started and have a lot of visiors everyday. Keep blogging regularilly and having interesting content may be the solution.

I’m not over the top yet ;-) . Just take a look at my blog and give it a chance. Thanks.

First of all , i would have to start by saying that i respect your point of view , and now i will share mine .

By understanding the way RSS readers work , you will understand the fluctuation of readers behind any big website . In your example you examined , fair enough , i will use the same example .

Let’s take the same sample that you did , the 1,200 people . Let’s say that those 1,200 people found an interesting article on problogger , added probllogger to their RSS reader , read the article , closed the reader . Now , if the second day they closed the reader , and didn’t visit problogger for any other reason , there you go -1 fluctuation ( i was talking about 1 single person , in a large community of 250k people , 1200 could have done the above thing at the same time ) .

Now , for your problem Daniel Israli , you might be interested to check this article :

P.S : If you have time , drop me a comment !
