I was always thought that links on your personal website should always open in another window browser.
That is now old school and people start hating it because they want somethimes to open it in tabs instead of another window.
Yes I started this blog same way but as I realized today that, I get annoyed my self too when I some blog or websites open links in another window for me.
So from today on I will leave that up to my readers and visitors what they want to do, either open window in new tab or just follow the link.

I’ve been doing the same. I need to get out of the habit of the old target=blank code…
When I get back from holiday I’ll be making a conscious effort to do that…

I agree, tabs are the wave of the future especially for websurfing, I find pop ups are just annoying - even FF thinks this is so as well with their integrated browser
Well also according to ProBlogger’s statistic 54% of users said not to open in another window while other 46% said to open in another window.
I think that there is miscommunication between Firefox users and internet explorer users.
