I don’t know how many of you remember but I hated my Adsense display of ads , with efax and chemistry advertising.
What does efax has to do with my blog ? NOTHING therefore I blocked not relevant sites
Are you tired of seeing not related ads on your blog from adsense ?
Remove them block them by going to Adsense Account Click on AdSense Setup and then Click on Competitive Ad Filter
Once you did that add site you want to block from displaying on your blog. Blocked ads will not disapair imediatly , it take couple of hours to be removed, mine for example took about 2-3 hours , yours might too.
The only tricky question for me at first was how will if find advertising url without clicking on it?
Thats easy, right click on the ad, click properties, and scroll to the left until you don’t see something like http://URLOFAD.com and there you go block that part  i would recommend block whole site site.com instead of partial.

Isn’t it easier to use the Google Adsense Preview Tool to find out about the ads? Not only that you will see there ads, which you maybe don’t see right now on the screen, you also can examine which ads are shown in different countries. And it will show you the exact landing page of the advertiser.
Yes it is easier but then again if you don’t have privileges when you are at work then you don’t have that option
or if you are on Ubuntu as I am, even tho I haven’t tried vine into adsense Preview tool yet.
