I have been going around the blogsphere and watching for that small button “Pay Per Post” for quite some time, it did interested me at one time, but I never really joined.
I was just too skeptical about it, because it didn’t make sense that some people make more money with PPP then with google adsense.
Strategy is very good organized, advertisers chose your blog to advertise for the amount of money you think one post is worth it.
So the question is how well is worth your blog post ?
That question I asked my self and couldn’t really find an answer to it, if I put $5 i think it is useless for me to review somebody’s blog and also to have my blog link to that blog. Then I just went with my lucky number $23 I think it is very reasonable price for me to review somebody’s blog and have their link 24-7-365days .
By next month I will probably jump up my price to double $46 twice my lucky number :).
I really honestly can’t say how much your blog is worth it, you should answer that question to your self. I think if you add your content quality+ traffic+ links+ passion = PPP price you should be close to what your blog is worth.
How does pay per post work ?
Simple you sign up for PayPerPost and build your profile, add your blog, add the code to wordpress, blogger, typepad etc. Once you finish that all up, wait for the advertiser to buy your post, and write either review, opinion or just a buzz about it.
So if you want to earn some extra cash other then google adsense, payperpost is for you! Blogshpere is talking about it, and I have read from several big blog dogs that they get paid more then adsense! ( will see )

Horaayy..there are 9 comment(s) for me so far ;)
Pay Per Post works well for me. I agree that we should be able to get $20 a post for blogging, but there are a limited number of advertisers willing to pay that much.

Cool post! I signed up a while back but only just got around to really looking into it. Did my first review post today which should earn me $20….not bad for starters I guess.
Good luck with yours!

My blog was too new to get accepted to PPP, but I did find other similar options. The majority of my blog income has come from writting posts for profit. Problem I have with that is it’s a one time deal; you write your article, you get paid, that’s it. I’m looking for a more stable and recurring income source.
@Desty: Adsense is best payout for new blogs
Heh, in almost three months of my blog being live, I’ve racked up a grand total of just under $6 with AdSense.
just found out my first PPP post has been approved! and I have 3 referrals pending too…should be a good $$$$ earner (eventually!)

Nice!
I’ve had several clicks on my referal buttons, but I don’t know if any actually went through to become referals.
Desty you can see that in your account info.
