Blog About Me or Us page is important to have on your blog, one of the big reasons is because literally you want to write about you and the Blog you open. Sometimes pages you visit don’t have “about me” page but would’t you like to know who is writing all the content ? Who is the person behind the blog, why he or she is writing about stuff ? Where do they come from ?
I did place About Me page my self but did not wrote much about it except that I placed links to it. Reason I did not put much about me is just because I don’t like it “yet” but eventually or soon I will be updating that page and hope that many of you my visitors will read who is the person behind all this helping content for bloggers.

An about us IMHO should be about what the blog is all about, as a lot of times the title of the blog is too broad or the url.com like bontb does need an extra explanation to be fully understood.
Simply put: if I want to read about the author, I should check out the gossip sites
