I wrote already couple of times (Build Blog Traffic With Comments) how important Is to comment on another blog. Today I would like to go little bit more deeper into the psychological side of comments.

Comments are something that blogger should appreciate, without comments on your blog it’s like bread without marmalade or peanut butter.

I dislike seeing blogs that require you to register to comment. If you look at the positive side of it, you get,email addresses, blogs,websites and people that are going to come back from time to time to comment”.

What is psychological about it?

Comments are important as I wrote in my other post, you as a blogger to get successfully and gain some reputation, you got to visit other blogs and comment.

It helps you build traffic first of all,and second of all, how do you or everyone else feel when you see 10, 20 or 30+ comments to get approved?

I feel very good !

Psychologically looking, if you post today an article and within an hour you get 10 comments, wouldn’t that encourage you to post even more, because you know somebody read the whole article and has opinion about it?

Your blogwork today is , to post 20-30 comments this week, and let me know if your traffic has changed. While commenting on other blogs, don’t look for blogs that are doing very well, they recieve enough attention. Look for some blog that is not that popular on blogsphere, you will receive more comments and traffic by doing that way.

Why would let say John Chow or ProBlogger, that receive 20+ comments per post come to your blog and comment back ? They don’t have time for that, those bloggers are too busy with family, blog research and especially money.

So grab 10 minutes of your time a day, get on stumbleupon search for your topic you would like to comment about and enjoy the backlinks as well as “backcomments”.
