This blog tip could be different for each blogger, but I will give you general thought on where to look for blog advertisers.

I have not done yet stable advertising on this website just because I think I need little bit more time till I let advertisers to place banners on my blog. Here is what you could do to find stable blog advertisers.

1. My first recommendation is to apply your blog with Text Link Ads see if you pass their blog tes, this will pretty much give you an answear if you really should consider advertisers on your website or not. Because for new blogs that are not having daily content or blog that is just 1-2 months old, I would not recommend placing any banners on your blog. First get your readers and traffic, once you get stable traffic then do the following:

2. Go to sites like ProBlogger, JohnChow, DoshDosh, BoingBoing , find one of the popular blogs that suits your relevancy to your own blog. Once you found couple of those blogs, I bet you will find advertisers as well. Click on advertisers link, find contact information and email them with proposal. Be tricky write something like ” why paying $1.500 a month for advertising when you can get same for $792″ get it?

3. Use stumbleupon, search for your topic blog, you will be amassed how many blogs and regular websites are out there that would like to advertise but they did not find YOU.

4. Your task is to find at least 15 blogs and websites that you know they would like to advertise, email them wait 2 day’s for respond.

5. Don’t jump for big dogs! Like asking Microsoft, “hi would you like to advertise on my blog?” don’t make fool out of your self :).

6. Got some bloggers that regularly visit your site? Ask them, if they know somebody or if they would consider advertising on your blog. Give them some sort of discount because they did visit your blog tho.

I think this would be enough for you to get started on research for blog advertisers.

If you think of any questions please don’t hesitate to answer them!
