Couple of blog tips for different type of blogs
Fashion blogs are more and more popular among blogsphere and I have seen blogs that just can’t close the browser how good tips they give for men and woman. Most of the blogs provide pictures, authors picture them self or picture of another fashion trend.
My suggestions for fashion blog:
Take high quality pictures, don’t make them too big and save some space for text. Explain the photo, what do you like about it. If picture is from author, don’t make it to personal. Don’t write much about your self, connect that picture with fashion in some way.
Your blog should have at least 10 -20 fashion word in it on first page. This will help google and other search engines recognize your blog as “fashion blog”. It does not mean that if your blog domain name contains “fashion” that your blog will be considered as fashion cloths or fashion blog. This will help you a lot if you are running google adsense, and other text link ads.
Since fashion blogs contain most of the time pictures, don’t forget to enter alt text of an image, that means if I place mouse pointer over the image It should give me description of the picture. If I search for example on google image “fashion pictures” your website should come up.
Don’t critic your readers comments, if they don’t like what they read and see, let them have it. Don’t argue with your readers it is useless and you could potentially receive less visitors because of your kindness 
Too many pictures is bad as well, 5-10 images per page is enough, there are people with dial-up still out there and you got to think of them as they would have dsl or cable. Dial-up readers tend to click off pages that wait time is more then 30sec to 1 minute.
Link to other blogs in your posts, grab other authors attention, get opinions from other fashion bloggers. As I said above don’t argue in negative way, keep it positive.
Fashion keywords are important because if you are going to write about black and white cloths and you want THAT audience you better have keywords like, fashion blog, black cloths, white cloths, black white.
If you are running fashion blog to make money online, my recommendation is to lookup some suggested keywords from google, see how many advertisers is there (if any). Go to google adwords external tool
Business cards, not every blog can have those but fashion blogger can! Create business cards give them to your friends, relatives and if you are club person you could say something like ” I really like your bag you might be interested to see this site” .
Keywords to use in text: fashion design, fashion bug, fashion police, fashion model, fashion show, fashion designer, wholesale fashion jewelry, fashion style, man fashion, fashion photography, 80s fashion, fashion accessory, fashion merchandising, fashion magazine, house of fashion etc.
