Just today there will be about 40.000 new blogs open, but did you know that more bloggers quit blogging same day?

Looking at the statistics from other popular blogs and their polls, I suddenly realize that there is not many bloggers that stay blogging.

Ok here is what happens and you tell me if it’s true or not!

Ill start by types of bloggers and then the definition why they quit blogging.

Fun Blogger -Fun blogger usually open blog for fun, posts one or two articles either about them self or something just for fun. After they post they close the browser and never come back.

Money Wannabe Blogger - This type of blogger is the most popular on blogger.com (google blogger), Typepad, Wordpress and other blogging software services. They read some article how to make money with blog, open blog and post 10 articles and think they will become millionaires over night. After month or two of their blogging, they realize money isn’t coming in and make only 10c from google adsense. These type of bloggers only waist domain names, blog names that somebody else could use.

Sexy Girl Blog - I have seen these type of blogs a lot as well. Girls with beautiful faces and nice sexy body open blogs because they think with their beauty can also get lots of visitors and be in the center of attention just like in club. After a week of blogging and posting their pictures they check blog traffic and see nobody even cares for them. What do they do? Cancel their account, close the browse and run to the clubs again.

Smart Blogger - Whether they are good in technology, software, website development or just blogging, these type of bloggers anoys me because they think as “nobody knows best as I do”. They post about hacking technology and or their knowledge and skills in software development. But what they don’t know, just because they are smart, that does not mean they can write about same thing over and over again. Such bloggers are usually out of date, don’t know how to find good resources what to write next, or think that there is too many people out there that write the same stuff they do.

Wordpress Theme Blogger - I adore these people! They code wordpress themes, share with others and all for free. They make 10 wordpress themes and think “I am good, I will get lots of links back to my blog” . These blogs do really get a lot of links back because each of their theme links back to their blogs, but thats not all. Many people find bugs and want to have some sort of support to fix their bugs. Theme bloggers don’t have time and usually they just write on the end “Sorry I do not support this theme anymore, I will stop posting any updates and themes”.

Angry Blogger - They watch tv and see some political debate that they did not like, they go online and want to express them self what they feel about it. As usual they type in google “free blogs” they join blogger and other services, post that one article and that’s it. Such people think that if they post once, somebody will come to their blog and comment back on what they feel about.

All the types above are quiters and that is the only thing they have in common, now if you feel like one of them, make a difference. For example if you feel like Money Wannabe Blogger, don’t thing blogging is easy and money will flow in after a month or two, keep on writing about the thing you started with. Get familiar with other services, read other blogs how they make money your work will pay of with reading and posting believe me I know!

Don’t quit blogging, we are the inspiration to other people that visit internet, we are bloggers that keep people updated with news, technology, gossip and other things. Our posts make this world different, we are more then what they learned in school. So keep posting, it does not have to be every day, at least come back let your visitors know you didn’t let them down.
