Google Adsense Video Units

Problogger wrote today about Adsense Video Launch.

I have not heard of that yet but I have seen it before, google adsense a while ago announced video launched advertising.

When I had my old adsense theme, I have seen couple of times running video ads but only in 300×250 format, adsense claims they run also video ads on 250×250 and 336×280 format as well.

Here quote from problogger:

Basically you set up a video unit to run on your blog and either choose a category of video to be targeted to your blog, select a content provider to provide the video or leave it completely up to AdSense and Youtube to do it for you. You also get to customize the video unit to blend into your site in terms of color and size

Adsense Blog wrote “how to setup your video ads”, so this morning I visited my adsense account and have not seen link for “Video Units” yet.

Please report if you find ? It might be just setup for specific group of people that can run video ads, what they call it google beta testers.

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)

I setup the adsense video units on a couple of my blogs today: Travel Guide to South America and Buenos Aires. I placed the video player at the bottom of individual posts. Deciding where to place the player is a challenge, particularly since the smallest size is 400×415.
