I successfully installed TNX Code into Wordpress Sidebar.
For those that signed up with TNX (Buying/Selling Text Link Ads) here is how you are going to install TNX on your Wordpress Software:
OPTION NO.1
1. Open Notepad Copy their Full Code from <?php to ?> and save file as tnx.php
2. Upload the file to your ftp server where your theme is at
- Example:
wp-content/themes/Your_Theme_Name
3. Go to Presentation on Your Wordpress and Click On Theme Editor.
4. You will notice there will be file tnx.php in the right side list?
5. Question for you ! Where do you want to put your links from tnx?
I placed mine on sidebar, because that is where most space I got, I hate placing irrelevant links right on top or on the bottom of my posts.
Now the fun part!
To call the file tnx.php simply copy this code where ever you want to place their links.
If you want to place it on top of the posts click on Single Post look for <?php include “header.php”; ?> and right under that code paste <?php include(’tnx.php‘) ?>
If you want to place your code in sidebar on top:
Look for
<div class=”sidebar”>
Ad the TNX code BEFORE <div class=”sidebar”>
OPTION NO.2 and maybe easy for some people that don’t know squad about wordpress or files and coding
Install this Wordpress Plugin Called Exec-PHP
Copy Paste Code and you should be done, sorry I can not give you step by step solution here because I have not done it “yet”.
OFFER:
If any of you failed to install TNX Code PLEASE contact me via Contact Page on BONTB I will help you install it for free, the only thing that I would like to, is one link from your blog to mine how does that sound?
UPDATE: Please don’t copy paste this text to your blogs or websites I hate seeing duplicate text on google. If you are going to copy and paste make sure you quote this text and give the source link which is link to this post.
Update 06/17/2008: Just want to let you know that you can always email me via contact page if you get errors or don’t know how to install it.

Nice post, well worth a stumble. I’ll bear this in mind if I decide to sign up for TNX.
[...] the code to work, but it didn’t. To their credit, TNX had a link to BONTB where they go, step by step on how to get the code to workfor you. I followed the instructions and wordpress finally allowed the update. Problem was that [...]
Nicely written article on TNX.
The TNX system is worth using. I’ve been using it for a month and the money you can earn is quite good
If I want to use the cache version ? What should I do ?
@Fashion Directory: What do you mean by cache version?
” Static code that is being cached on your server side.”
” (For advanced users who would like to minimize the page load and traffic. You will need to have a folder on your server with CHMOD 777)”
My hosting is sensible on server load so I need to cache almost everything
FashionD: Well you should not really have any problems with the tnx, it’s not like its using up your server, all it does is placing link. I don’t cache anything my server is fine as it is. Who you r hosting with?
I’m hosting at Virtuosonetsolutions
I don’t get why do you have to cache anything? I mean I see the point of yours if page loads slow i would cache too so people that previously visited your site can easily open it. But I am not getting what does cache has to do with tnx. It’s not a widget that each time you open blog page it will load, tnx only places links.
is it possible to get TNX to work with blogger?
@WeirdBiz: I can give a try.
For now, I don’t think so.
Very nice tutorial mate!
I learned some new stuffs like the Exec-Php Plugin..etc
keep it up!

So what happens if your using WP-Super-Cache?
Would sorting out this hack with the cache version fix any issues?
@Sam P.: i am not following your question , there is no known issues with tnx code and any plugins or wp versions all it does its adding links to place where your thx code is.
Thank you very much for you post.
