I have seen many websites offering free blogs and other features that comes with that. Now some of you think wow they have money for all the traffic and bandwith we all use from one source.

But if you look at it from their prospective, its sort of free advertising.

I will give you two blog tips ” how you can advertise your blog for free!”

Blog Tip 1:

This only applies to bloggers that have hosting providers. What I for example do for my  friends and bloggers that wants to join my network I provide them “TheirDomainName.bontb.com” but in return all I want is link back. Now this is easy for me because my hosting “lunarpages” has one click type of deal to create new sub-domain and install Wordpress, Nucleus, pMachine Free blog software.  Hope you got an Idea on how you can have free back links just because you offer small peace of your hosting.

Blog Tip 2:

This is for almost all bloggers except once that don’t have wireless connection. Ok here is what you can do, offer your neighbours free wireless connection but name that connection with your blog name. Like mine for example I have “Free Wi-Fi visit www.bontb.com” and guess what since I am in apartments that surrounds me about 5.000 people, I have seen some good traffic coming in for past 15 days.

But also I must tell you since I am linux guru as well as network guru I went one step up, I set my network so, that if somebody joins from different network than I am on, they are pointed to my own website. So even if they join they are forced to see this website.

Those two blog tips work for me very well and I don’t pay for them. I asked couple of my friends that have open wi-fi spots if they would do me favor and rename their network to my site as well.
