What would you do if you got fired over your blog?

Today I stumbled this blog with my new blog search technique a list of bloggers that got fired.

The Papal Bull wrote about bloggers that got fired over their blogs, some of the people that got fired I think they deserve to be fired because they disrespected their work policy.

Many bloggers post from work, because they get either bored or don’t know what to look on internet. Soon enough their boss walks in their office and say “You are fired because you post about….”

What would you do after that situation ?

Would you write about it on your blog, so visitors feel sorry for you ? Or would you try explain to your boss why you posted and that you will not do that ever again ?

I think every blogger should watch out for things like that, if you are working for Apple don’t release information on your blog that could jeopardize your job. I know it’s cool and you might be the first blogger to write about and get some traffic, but you have to ask your self is that more important then your job?

Don’t lose your job over 1 blog post that might get 50 comments and 10 adsense clicks.

I am not saying don’t post while at work, you sill can do that. Watch out, when you post and what you post, many bloggers cover their job seats by blogging around their lunch times, and that might be the only time you really should post.

If you have some blog topic in mind, write it on your notepad or word, and then all you got to do is post at your lunch time. This way whoever walks by your office/cubical will think you are taking notes or something.
