I have been reading blogs for past 4-5 years and I have some favorites which are top dog blogs problogger johnchow and some not so known but cool blogs like Cymru66 Linkylove SexyInRed Grand Start.
For past few days at work I got bored reading blogs that I know about, and my new technique of reading is to visit new blogs first and then my favorites 
.
How am I going to do that?
I will go to google blog search type in something that I am interested in and click on first blog link.
On that blog I will try to leave comment and move to another blog via blogrolls they have.
Why is this method good?
It is good because I will meet new bloggers, I will find new information and different type of writing which is exactly what I need. There are blogs out there that provide new better content is just that we don’t know yet.
Some of you think this is lame , some of you think this is funny but some of you that are in same situation like me will try this.
Why is this good for your blog and your self?
How many of you got linkback from big dogs? How many of you got comment respond from blogs that receive 150 comments per post? See my point?
It is hard to get connected with such bloggers because they see you as 5c visit and not as somebody, where blogs that receive 2-10 comments per post get connected with you and if you have question about post they will answer you within hours or less. So that part is good for your self.
As far as your blog goes, you could receive more visits , traffic and comments as well. Because I am sure that bloggers like say johntp or johnchow don’t have time to visit your blog. While bloggers as I do have time, and WANT to leave a comment its just that I did not find your blog yet.
I tend to visit every bloggers blog that leaves comment on BONTB, I even leave comment on their blog just so they know “I WAS THERE”
Will that ever change?
I will say NO and I will try to stick to that even with 150 comments can’t stop me.
How do I know that?
I had international blog/website and received over 80 comments per blog and I still had time to visit people and give them advices when it comes to blogging.

Another tip: use the BlogRush widget. When I am bored, I checkout the headlines that I see and if they are interesting I visit the site. Works great too!
