Now day’s it is hard to choose the right blog hosting, there is so many of them! In this post I will explain what you should be looking for in blog hosting.
What type of blogger are you?
- Blogger that don’t have ANY blogging skills with software like wordpress, nucleus, b2evolution, textpattern should look for blog hosting that is more automated. Also these type of bloggers should look for hosting that has 24h technical support!
- Blog Hostings: Are hostings that provide you space, domain name, and already created blog
- Auto Hostings: Are hostings that provide you space, domain name but have also scripts like Fantastico that allows you to install and remove blogs, forums, image galleries with one single click.
- Blogger with some basic blogging skills
- Hosting provider should have reasonable amount of storage, enough monthly bandwidth, good reviews and allow to register multiple domain names just in case you don’t like your first blog name
- Hosting provider should have reasonable amount of storage, enough monthly bandwidth, good reviews and allow to register multiple domain names just in case you don’t like your first blog name
- Advanced Bloggers
- Look for top hosting companies, you can find reviews online, just google “hosting reviews”
- Hosting should allow you to access full root directory.
- Allowing to register multiple domain names are optional, but I would consider it anyways.
- Allowing to have multiple MySql’s
What type of Blog are you going to design?
Some bloggers need lots of space and some don’t and that is simply due to wha type of blog they design or have.
For example bloggers that write about “make money online” usually don’t spend a lot of bandwith simply because they use less images, mp3’s or even videos.
Bloggers that are into videos, art, fashion or photograpy those type of blogs use up a lot of bandwidth and should consider hosting that offers lots of monthly bandwidth usage as well as storage.

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I am not sure if you have ever seen or heard of BlurFur dot com for webhosting but they have a blogger package they offer. I use it for my http://www.feedflare.ca site and love it. It really saves me tons of time.
I prefer reseller hosting package to host my blogs/sites. One main reason is i can host multiple blogs (up to 20)
Nice instructions u got there for us .thanks
