Here is one quick tip that might help you write content for your next blog post.
Many of bloggers are using google analytics or wordpress stats and use them just to see how much traffic they got. But why not using those services to write your next post?
Quick Blog Tip
In Google Analytics or Wordpress Stats find keywords that people searched and found your blog.
Don’t look at the keywords that have been hit hard like for example “make money online” if you ware carlocab blog owner. Rather search for keywords that have been hit once , twice or even three times and use them as your next blog post.
Let say for example somebody searched for “Blog Tips” on google and found your blog but content on your blog had only some relevance to keyword “Blog Tips”.
Now do your homework, research that keyword if you dont know much about it and then write about it. I bet in few days your ranking for that keyword will be better and that way you will gain more traffic.

Interesting idea. Some of the searches that have lead people to my site are so strange. It would be interesting to test out and see the results.
@Beth: Try out, i did and doing very well. If you can’t make at top 10 for “make money online” i bet you can do better in other keywords
I think its better to rank on 10 different keywords that are easy to snap 1st place in google hart then 1 keywords that too many people write about.
That’s a very good idea.
I had people visiting my blog using keyword that I don’t even know that I got ranked for in google and that is like at page 12 and so.
Don’t know that people actually look beyond page 10 in google.
