That is why i’ve just introduced a challenge for myself and my blog for July and that is to post once per day. I don’t think it is essential but feel better when I read blogs that are constantly updated. It makes the information I’m reading feel more up to date and relevant.

This is the reason that a majority of blogs started with such enthusiasm just fall by the wayside. Perseverance is the key, but having said that, it is easy to get discouraged when you do not see results.

At least 1 post a week is enough for me. If I can post once a week I’m happy with that.

I agree, frequent posting is the key or provide a schedule to the readers so they know when to expect a new posting.

I certainly don’t expect a blog to have new posts multiple times a day or even every day. But there needs to be a couple new posts a week to keep interest. I hate to see a blog I like go stagnant without any explanation.
