I know many of bloggers own at least 2 domain names, and sometimes we just buy domain name thinking it’s awesome. But then you find out that it’s time consuming and you don’t have time to update all 15 blog domain names you have.
I can’t really say that I am domainer but to be honest, I own over 40 domain names and I only run 5 blogs almost on daily basis , including Bontb.com. What about other 30+ domain names ?
Open account with Moniker.com and Sedo.com and join also Namepros.com forums and try
A: to monitize your domain names with sedo or parked.com
B: Sell your domain name(s) with moniker, sedo or namepros
You would be amazed how much they give you per click! My highest 1 click amount was $2.79 now imagine how much I make with 2.500-2.700 monthly traffic. You still think adsense pays good?
Here is an example of my domain name i sell and monitized with Sedo.
HawaiiB (Use to be Hawaiian Blog with 5000-6000 monthly visits)
Update: As I was writing this blog post I went and check my sedo accout. I sold Hawaiib.com to somebody for $170 I know it’s cheap but you know I needed money for my Iphone 3g
See how well unused domain names selling can be?

Horaayy..there are 8 comment(s) for me so far ;)
Hey this is great advice, you really got me thinking along those lines now, because i know how incredibly valuable domain names can be (pizza.com sold for some astronomical sum i read somewhere).
I’ve been with sedo for more than 1 year now. Just got a little $$$, but it’s still money
This is good advice. I have over 50 domains and most are just sitting there. I am going to look into monetizing using the methods you discussed above.
@HTML Email Program For Blackberry: Let me know
@Finance Software: That all depends how u promote it and also what urls u have
Definitely a great idea as I have 5 domains currently doing nothing and unmonetized.
Def some great ideas!
Its definately a good idea. Although if you are looking for a great bargin check out Sitepoint Forums. I picked up a domain that was on sedo for $2000 for $40.
