I have much to learn and am new at this. Everything you said I shouldn’t do I did (except give up!). I realize I have alot to learn which is why I have landed on your site and read up on all tips and advice
With experience, I should be able to reduce the amount of time it takes for me to make a useful and content driven site (and hopefully more pleasant to the eyes than is my current Blogger theme!).
Keep up the good work, I expect to learn much more!

Thats a nice run down. I must admit my first time was a little like the top one but maybe not even that good. That and i’ve still not given up. ;o)

I like #1. You’ve got to show people that you put time and effort into it and let them get a feel for what they can consistently find on your site. Throwing a handful of posts up isn’t enough.
