While last week I spend some time lurking around for affiliate programs I stumbled upon this Affiliate Website. I mean first time I found It, I thought that its just another website, but then later on while I was going through some posts and articles I found out to be very helpful.
I think the part of the website that got me attracted was Education affiliate programs because it was providing the right information I needed. How much I make from commission, what it is and the score they have. If you go down that link I just provided you above you can check out categories that might suit your needs.
I learned a lot from Affiliate Tips website and to be honest I don’t think I found any other website that will provide you with such good information unless you subscribe to them for some monthly fee.
Why affiliate programs over google ads?
Simple enough, you make more money from affiliate programs then from google adsense. Now some of you might disagree with that, but when you have technology blog google adsense is going to bring you maybe 1$ per day because most tech people know that its “google adsense ads” , but with affiliate programs you can do much better you just need to read sites like Affiliate Tips to understand the whole concept of running affiliate programs, otherwise you will end up having banner or link that is not making you any money.
My tip: Don’t place affiliate program that is nothing relevant to your blog.

Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)
Adsense is the first choice to monetize my blogs (although Adsense is not my biggest money maker :-D) I think affiliate is more interesting
I am just learning about the different ways to monetize my blog so additional info is always welcome, thanks!
is it necessary to know PPC for promoting affiliate programs ?
Affiliate programs are usually the only way to make money on a blog if you don’t have huge traffic. CPC through Google is just not specific enough. Sure they do a decent job matching the ads up with your content, but at the end of the day, we’ve all be conditioned to ignore their ads.
That’s why we’ve created something new at AnatomyAds.
We’re reworking the publisher/advertiser relationship by making it easy and inexpensive to advertise on a site.
Plus, we don’t take a cut. 100% of the advertisers money goes straight to the publisher. Basically, if someone wants to pay you $50 bucks to advertise on your site, you get every last dollar.
It’s a great way for smaller blogs with medium traffic to monetize.
