Many of you heard of Twitter or Plurk otherwise you wouldn’t probably read this now. Yet some of you ask your self why don’t I have Twitter or Plurk followers? (fans).

Simple answer is “YOU ARE NOT SOCIALIZING!“.

Yes being popular on internet helps you gain more followers and fans automatically, even though such people in real life are nobody to most people. Unless they are someone like Tila Tequila (Myspace Bi***).

So stop thinking you can’t do the same! or you wish you would be Robert Scoble or Jason Calacanis from Mahalo search engine.

Anyways lets go back to the topic “How to Build Social Network full of Followers and Fans”

First thing I must tell you, It will not happen over night, so be patient time will come when people will talk about you.

Socialize!, that is the key. Have only 1 eventually 2 social networks that you are going to focus on each day. Day and Night!

Talk to other twitters, plurkers, friendfeeders or whatever the social network might be. Ask questions ! Find out who what like, but ask questions that are interest of yours as well. Like for example “What car do you drive?” then go on with that, make some conversation about it. After that you will see one or two people will add you as fan or follow you on twitter.

Plurkers, don’t think people like you because you have big karma, they like you because they found same interest or you are god damn looking GIRL. Chasing Top Plurkers isn’t something you want to do, focus as I wrote above on your fans or friends talk to them.

Twitters, don’t just follow big boys and top bloggers, because they will never “almost never” replay you any message unless they know you really good. Instead go to “everyone” tab, find somebody interesting again to you, ask him/her question or give your opinion to what he/she said. Use hashtags #twitter #plurk (See top hashtags here) or summize.com.

Anyways I wrote this post because I want to help people to socialize on internet, and because I don’t want Twitter or Plurk to focus on just people that have a lot of followers, fans, friends etc..

Word Socializing on Plurk or Twitter does not exist anymore!. Just because of people that are self promoting them self or like some, show their (body parts), such people know that being on internet “popular” does not work forever, at least not in real life.

So please Plurkers Twitters, don’t start making friends with lies ,  sooner or later that will hunt you down. (I know some people did). Also if you like cars and don’t know anything about technology or blogshpere, don’t pretend you do. In other words don’t pretend being somebody on internet that you are not.

I so agree with you! This is the BEST way. May I even add that it would help you greatly to find NEW people on the social website and introduce yourself and friend the NEW guys. You never know, they could become one of the “big guys” later. And you can then say “I knew them when” and you are in the inner circle of one of the up and coming new big guys.

In any case, you hit the nail on the head. This IS about socializing. Being popular is just the icing on the cake. Quality not quantity.
