Time came when you ask your self so how much should I really charge for Blog Advertising. In just few blog posts you will get an answer.
My best intrepetation and advice is to charge $1 per 1000 Page Views 100.000 Pageviews =$100

Here are some interesting blog posts that will explain in detail how much you should charge and is pretty fair to your advertising clients:

How Much Should I Charge for my Advertising Space? by Problogger

Nice comparison on how much to charge by MakeYougohmm

Site monthly unique visitors:

I think at the end you should first think what is the topic you are writing about and how much value are you bringing to your advertisers. I for example charge less for advertisers that write about technology because from time to time they also link back. Than also you should consider that how valuable your content is, you could build autoblog and get 150.000 page views but that does not mean your audience is clicking on advertising links example: ToyotaCrazy in such cases best thing to do is just go with adsense let them figure how much you get paid

I think it works like the market does… I think it’s important to start off at a really low charge. And then as your website starts getting more popular and as the adspace is full, then you can slowly start raising your price, and in the end.. you will find a happy medium. Thats what I learned in Economics anyways lol.

Till then,
Jean

I prefer the fix charge per method because its easy for both publisher and advertise and I had seen blogs who charges $10 per month to blog who charges more than $100 per month so it depends on the reputation of the blog

Are you sure it wouldn’t be wiser to charge per click? The advertiser will surely offer a lot more per every person and if the ad is relevant to the site it might get a decent number of hits.
